POSITION VACANT – FRONT OF HOUSE ROLE

We are looking for that special individual who loves hospitality and has a desire to support others. 

​

At Ben’s Café, we believe that good food can bring a community together. A nourishing meal, a warm beverage, and an inviting atmosphere are at the heart of so many significant moments in life.

We aim to provide an inclusive space where all members of the community can gather and create those moments, while young people with disabilities are given opportunities to work and connect.

Essential Criteria

• Reliable

• Attention to detail

• Ability to work as part of a team and independently

• Can do attitude with excellent customer service 

• Patience and clear communication

• Good time management skills

• Strong alignment with BMFS values

• Must be triple vaccinated against COVID-19 

 

Desirable Criteria

• At least 2 years experience working in a busy cafe

• Available to work multiple days: Tuesday - Saturday

• Supervisory skills

• Barista experience

• Able to cover extra shifts when offered 

• Ability to assist, support and work alongside people with a disability

• Experience in end of day and cash handling
