We are looking for that special individual who loves hospitality and has a desire to support others.
At Ben’s Café, we believe that good food can bring a community together. A nourishing meal, a warm beverage, and an inviting atmosphere are at the heart of so many significant moments in life.

Barista experience

Experience in end of day and cash handling

CAFE SUPERVISOR
About the Role
As Café Supervisor, you'll ensure smooth day-to-day operations while leading by example on the floor. You'll supervise staff and participants, maintain high food safety and customer service standards, and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive workplace.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily café operations and ensure excellent customer service.
-
Lead, motivate, and support a diverse team of staff.
-
Rostering, opening and closing procedures, daily cash handling, reconciliation of till and banking.
-
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety.
-
Ordering of stock and supplies
-
Reading and responding to emails.
-
Train and support team members in hospitality skills and workplace expectations.
-
Resolve customer concerns professionally and positively.
-
Foster an inclusive, respectful, and supportive workplace culture.
About You
You'll be someone who enjoys developing people as much as delivering great hospitality.
You'll ideally have:

At least 2 years experience supervising in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment.

Strong organisational, leadership and team-building skills.
-
Great time management
-
Food preparation skills
-
Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Knowledge of food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.

Food safety supervisor certificate (or willing to obtain)
-
First aid certificate (or willing to obtain)
-
Barista experience.
-
A genuine commitment to inclusion, community, and social impact.

Ability to assist, support and work alongside people with a disability.
